Is my plant toxic to cats and dogs?

A lot of houseplants are toxic to cats and dogs, although equally there are a lot of houseplants which are declared as ‘safe’. It is important that if you are worried you research your plant(s) before buying, the ASPCA is a useful website.

Do you ship plants?

Unfortunately we are not able to post plants at the moment. This includes cuttings.

Do you have a stock list?

As our plants are constantly changing we don’t hold an up to date stock list for the public. We do however update our ‘New In’ highlight on Instagram whenever we receive a new delivery of plants, so keep an eye out on social media! If you are not on social media or are looking for a particular plant please use our contact form as we may have it available.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes! We offer gift vouchers in store and as e-vouchers for any amount you’d like (see T&C’s).

For e-voucher purchases please use our ‘Gift Voucher’ form.

Is your shop wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately the shop isn’t wheelchair accessible. However we’re more than happy to help in any way we can, just ask!

I have found a bug on my recently purchased plant, what should I do?

We regularly check and monitor our plants for pests. In the growing season we release predatory bugs as a precautionary measure to target any possible threats and keep our wonderful plants to a high standard.

Although we take the best care of our plants sometimes pests can be missed, if you notice anything untoward please get in contact within 7 days of purchase and we will find the best solution for you (see T&C’s)!


 

Terms & Conditions


Returns

  • Most products are living items and as such The Aroid Attic is not able to accept returns or exchanges once the item has left the shop. This includes plants and soils.

  • We are able to accept returns on non-living items such as pots, watering cans and moss poles so long as they are returned unused and in re-saleable condition or in the event they are faulty. Our returns window is 14 days from purchase. This excludes sale price items.

  • A change in environment can be stressful to some plants so once placed, try to avoid moving them too much. However, if you do find that your plant is making a rapid decline please get in touch.

  • It is your responsibility to care for your plant, any neglect or mis care is not The Aroid Attic’s responsibility.

  • All plants are guaranteed for 7 days after receipt, if there is no contact within this time period it is presumed the plant is healthy and the customer is no longer eligible for free replacement or refund. This excludes sale price plants.

 
 

Vouchers

  • All vouchers are final sale and are not eligible for refund.

  • Vouchers can be used to purchase anything in store, whether it be plant(s) or accessories, and can be used in multiple transactions if desired.
